At 8:30 a.m., officers observed the man making a traffic violation and he was soon arrested and charged with DWI, Mendham Township police said. The man, who was not identified by police, also threatened to kill the police officer during the investigation and was charged with terroristic threats, police said.
The man was also issued tickets for refusing to submit to breath tests, along with consumption and possession of open alcoholic containers, police said. The man also had open arrest warrants out of Morristown, police said.
